NGAT (Not Going Anywhere Today)

Struggling deeply with seasonal depression each year, I had been looking to alchemize my experience into something more beautiful. Because it does get ugly. As almost manacled to the bed, there is hardly any painting done in winter. I do start a little outlining on a few works, but I have to wait for spring to rear its head to get some actual work done. I kick into higher gear and my productivity rises up to standard. Indisposition makes way for elation and both of them are part of my process, however much I may despise the former. I have been working on accepting this. And each winter I forget again.
