Supplication

Surrendering, whether to life events or a higher power, is a theme not rarely depicted in the arts. Some things just elude us and we then have no other choice but to accept and hope, even pray, for a favorable outcome. Surrendering is an act of faith, of vulnerability, of tenderness.
