Visite

I was feeling particularly vulnerable when this came to fruition. It had been a year since moving to the countryside, I had no friends yet or even family, not even in the broader area. Loneliness engulfed me. I was longing for some kind of company, a creature to share parts of my life with.
Now, everything turned around eventually and this painting is one of favorites too, because looking back on it, he and my current boyfriend look alike. Did I just invite a spirit into my life?
